Snape, how I love thee; let me count write the ways.

I just finished Goblet of Fire. I wriggled and whimpered all the way through the pertinent parts of the ending. Well, pertinent to Sevvy-wevvy Snape. The obviousness of where he's going, and what he's doing, and give what we've just seen, how fucking brave he is. I mean, Harry's got it easy ( Read more... )

I think I found this in a fic a year or two ago, but I'm not sure where. Anyway, it's, like, cool, and Slytherin, and stuff. Hmm ( ... )

ootp does much to add to the whole shades of grey thing. gives harry plenty to think about. and i completely agree with you about slytherin and draco. i can't wait to see where this all will go. i think it's quite important too that we haven't actually learned the houses of some of the older generation. hmm.

I really hope you're right about Draco. OotP didn't give him much of a guernsey at all, and it was my only disappointment in the book.

PS - I put aside a book I thought you might like a look at, a novel called 'Raising Spirits, Making Gold and Swapping Wives: The True Adventures of Dr John Dee and Sir Edward Kelly'. It sounded rather you!

Squeak! Oh yes, that book sounds fascinating! I'll have to do my best to scuttle past sometime this week. (What with school and work, it's been tricky, but I'll arrange something.)

And yes, I'd heard that Draco was annoyingly underrepresented in OotP. I'm up to... erm, chapter 11 I think now, and he's been there a little, but nothing new or interesting. Grr
