Benton Fraser and Captain Jack Harkness. Who would win the tall-tale storytelling contest you know would happen while the two teams were trying to solve the hinky transcontinental case of Major Crimes Committed by Aliens

Fraser would surprise everyone (except Jack, maybe) by displaying an incredibly detailed - one might even say intimate - knowledge of alien anatomy, mating rituals and territorial habits.

RayK would dismiss Ianto as a 'teaboy' á la Turnbull except, y'know, more competent and less talkative but still kind of strange in the Canadian way. Ianto, in turn, would dismiss RayK as a typical American guy - which, as he comes to think of it, is kind of how Jack is, too. Mm.

And as Ianto realizes he actually has a bit of a thing for crazy, hot-blooded Americans, Jack, being Jack, hits on Fraser, prompting a hissy fit from RayK and utter obliviousness from Fraser, which in turn inspires Ianto to use his mad logistic skills and make arrangements for that foursome that we sadly never get to see because the writers are teases like that the Plot demands otherwise.

*brains gets broken*

I like your take on it. I totally agree that Jack would hit on someone, although I'm not so sure it wouldn't be Ray (or hell, he's an equal opportunity flirt, both of them at once). And I suspect that Fraser would notice Jack moving in on Ray long before he noticed any move on himself. Hahaha.

But you're right that Ianto would be on board and quietly enabling the orgy by finding a big enough bed. *happy sigh* But you're probably also right that they'd get Plotus Interruptus!

And now I'm imagining Ray and Fraser having a conversation about Jack, with Fraser all 'well, he's certainly attractive' and Ray all 'we'd be married if we lived in the right state and I can't believe we're talking about this ... wait, you think he's attractive? I don't think he's attractive!'. And Fraser gently trying to break it to Ray that Jack's hitting on him, while Ray's all worked up about Jack hitting on Fraser (possibly to the point where he hasn't noticed Fraser's not the only one getting hit on).
