Beautiful pictures! Charleston is very New Orleans-ish, only not as run down or dirty and far more gentile.

You replied faster than I was able to upload all of my pictures. I still have a bunch more to go. I love Charleston, Savannah, and New Orleans equally, and I'm uber happy that I got to visit and/or live all three. I can die a happy southerner now.

My other favorite name for it was "The Time of Great Unpleasantness". I actually had a UGA PhD professor actually call it that. It was in Georgia, can you really blame them. Sherman is still cursed in those parts.
