While I believe in global warming, I kind of don't see the point of 'going green.' Is there possibly any hope of reversing, let alone halting the effects we've had on our environment? Yeah, maybe it seems possible on paper, but I don't think its fathomable to think for a second that enough people would ever give a shit in time to make a difference. I don't know, it kind of just seems like a cultish fad to me, I never thought about the green party, though thats interesting. I just figured it was something marketers leaped at. I don't get why people would feel more altruistic by choosing eco-friendly grocery bags or a toyota prius. You should post your paper when you're done.

And Jake is the trainhopper, right? I had a friend who was friends with him. Thats hard, feeling 'weightless' as you perfectly described it. I can't stand when people you care about jump in and out of your life, its so disconcerting!
