how everyone assumes if a girl is crying or upset, she's either on her period or something is going wrong with a boy.  it really pisses me the fuck off.  i hate how everyone thinks of that first.  or like, how when you talk to someone, the first thing they ask you is 'how are things with the boyfriend?'  believe it or not i have other things going

i know but some people ask me about the boyfriend first and it always pisses me off. i tried (and thought i wasn't) to not be that girl who constantly talks about her boyfriend, or has to spend every spare second with him, or drops everything in her life for a guy. and to me its just insulting when people first think to ask me about a guy because its like hi, i have a job and school like most 20 yr old girls, with or without boyfriends!!! which is why i appreciate you asked me about work

yeah. seriously. like i said at that point i was onthe verge of starting a new job, starting a new semester at school which 3x as many credits as i took last semester, battling depression (and still am). oh and by the way i loved your post about mature and immature women. i tried to post it a couple times but LJ was being lame.
