...it is to ride in the back of an ambulance. Yesterday afternoon my heart freaked out - it shot up to almost 160 bpm for no apparent reason. After a trip downstairs to the inhouse Physicians Assistant (thank you Cingular aka AT&T), it was decided that I should get the fun ride in the back of the Bothell EMS. Dr Gross at the ER said that stress or panic attacks would get my heartrate up in the 130's, 140 tops. My heartrate being up around 160 is atypical so that's why they are concerned. The EMT's who took me to the ER were downplaying it at a panic attack
