No shiny graphic I'm afraid. I may add one in later if I can distract myself from Golden Globe excitement enough. I am sorry I missed last week, real life shock kinda stole me away. Not sure if people are actually using these are not but hey just in case:

I want to say something coherent but I can't, I'm far too busy flailing.
Also, really impressed by Steve Thompson's writing this episode. I know when it was originally announced he was taking this story there was a little bit of doubt considering there are a lot of people with a lot of feelings with about TBB, but I think he did an incredible job this time.
Also, I think Martin just about killed me at the end. D:

Yeah! I didn't really enjoy the second episode of the first season and was a bit doubtful but it ended up being fantastic. The first scene killed me though.

I'd just like to echo that Steve Thompson proved to be a spectacular writer.

If you have a blue ray player you can order it from Amazon UK. It will be out on the 23rd of Jan.

No need to wait until May.

Is the Blu-ray region-free?

Yup. Plus it might be cheaper than when it comes out in the US. It cost me about $28.

Well, I was just sitting there for an hour and a half after the show finished trying to figure out what happened and searching Twitter for theories. Molly? Some sort of mask that Moriarty used to convince the little girl Sherlock was the kidnapper? That HOUND drug to change John's perception of what he saw?

All the actors were fantastic, and Martin went above and beyond in the last few scenes.

But I do think they should have left Sherlock dead till season 3 - much more of an emotional punch.

I'm a bit concerned that they've already done all the really famous cases - there's not much to build up to once you've already had Holmes' "death" and reappearance. Erm...John's wedding, which in the canon would have already taken place?? And has anyone thought John's character arc suffered in this series? He doesn't even seem to be a practicing doctor anymore, he's just Sherlock's bff.

Fantastic series, a brilliant follow-up to the first season, and that last half hour was some of the tensest, best written and most satisfying telly I've
