In the bible, the offspring of an angel and a human was a giant.

Yeah, they just steal shit and then fudge it up so it suits them. I think. Probably.

But then, maybe he didn't mean like literal children but just demons that he thought of as his children. Maybe more his prodigies.

Rain on my parade why don't you, just figures you would have a rational explanation about demonic "children" being figurative and not literal - though numerous times Meg discussed being tied to her family - one Ruby was certainly not a part of.

Still doesn't explain the demon!John thing.

I agree with smidge-- I think he referred to Sam as one of his "children" too, or it was implied, or something.

HOWEVER, THIS IS A VERY VERY VALID POINT: And if so, how the hell did he get the green light to possess John Winchester? JESUS FUCK, KRIPKE, HOW COULD YOU MESS UP ON MYTHOLOGY LIKE THAT? I realize that biblical mythology is very contradictory and convoluted at the best of times, but it was you who decided to follow religious dogma, SO DO EET RIGHT. >.<
