In a way I liked it, because the folkoriness reminded me of The Daemons, and I loved that. New New Doctor Who, episode 7
Hmm, I think I quite liked it, but was slightly disappointed in parts, but don't have time to write a review (if anyone would like to oblige, that'd be very kind!).
This was the monster that won the Blue Peter competition, but without the monster, wasn't it? I'd feel cheated if I was the kid who designed it!

I thought The Girl in the Fireplace was a strange episode. Haven't had time to review properly, so let's just say I was disappointed. I thought it could have been done better in a lot of ways (maybe it's the sort of episode that would benefit from being somewhat longer?), though paradoxically I thought Tennant improved a little in this one. I just found this, which claims that Christopher Eccleston has signed up to play No. 6 in a new series of The Prisoner. Wow! I do hope it's true... -
New New Doctor Who, episode 3
So, I thought School Reunion was the best episode of this series so far. It had good stuff and pathos, and even though I couldn't help wishing it was Eccles instead of Tennant, I rather enjoyed it. Ah, Giles... *sigh* And yay for K-9! And indeed Sarah Jane, whom I'd seen a little of in her early days - she was all there with the pathos. Very good. ( Read more... )
