I like to eat soup, right out of the can. Not the condensed stuff.
I try to do it discreetly, but the ladies at work think its gross.

The office staff is getting a raise this year. Which is super nice, since we were told early that we weren't.

it's funny how sometimes we're programmed to think that things that are often (as in frequently not as in a person who's lost their parents) eaten hot MUST be eaten hot. i remember once seeing you and carolyn putting pasta sauce straight from the jar onto some ravs. i was all, "WHA???". but later when i thought about it, i realized it wasn't as big a whoop as i made it out to be, because heck, it's just shmooshed up tamooties. not like raw chicken guts or something.

good stuff on the raise! i'm not sure if you're asking who should spend your raise or who should you spend your raise on. either way, i say your lovely new wife. and me & neil.

just tell them that eating soup straight from the can is part of your heritage as a person of Hobo-American descent, and is thus Constitutionally protected.

on a related note, i have often (frequently, only once) seen people eat Chef Boyardee right from the can, although i'm not sure that's any more disgusting than any other way you can eat it...
