I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show; however it seems to try to be confrontational. Wife Swap has the same premise, with a bit more understanding. I have been watching these since they started, like a human studies class.

I love these things too, the same way I love the National Enquirer and church craft fairs. According to those who have appeared and worked on these shows one side or the other is portrayed as the villan, in order to make for more controversial (read: widely-viewed) programming. After all, no one would watch this if everyone got along like reasonable adults. It would be very likely that during the selection process producers would seek out the most ignorant and narrow-minded of people, so they could match them up with whatever it is they fear or despise most.

Reasonable adults? That would be boring. Edan and I had the pleasure of viewing this spectacle. Normally he makes me change the channel, but even he had to watch the whole thing, and if you tuned out before the end, you really missed out. Now that's entertainment! She was so outrageous, that I thought maybe she was an actress.

on a related note : eBay scares me. i couldn't help but look up THE PULSE of eBay since Mr.McNutty, maker of the bobblehead, was obsessed with it.
i found a woman selling homemade scrapbook "Memories"(TM) style planners. i mean, if she's on THE PULSE, doesn't that mean a bazillion people are 'watching' that item?

For whatever reason, when I go to look at the auction the window closes before it will load. That sucks, as I am certain this is something I need very much.
