I just got last.fm so I'm not sure if it will meet that need but I think it might?

I think you can make playlists there, but their selection SUCKED. I have some really obscure old music I listen to, and Last.FM has never heard of it. I don't care how obscure something is. The Internet has made it commonplace. But thank you for trying. I still love you, Weinerdog!

My new fave is SlackerRadio.com. I don't care about putting songs in order - I like the randomness of letting the service find stuff for me.
