Usually, when I write things that are extremely compelling and/or intense, I assume and expect that there will be little to no response. What can be said, when I have said it already?

Never expect that your audience can emotionally handle what you are writing. Usually, they can't.

Yes and no. I've no cats or dogs, so the stink/filth factor is not there. And first Monkey and now Tom both are adept housecleaners who did/do 98% of all the housework with no complaints, so my slovenly-ness is usually kept in check. On the occasions when it gets out of control and starts making me freak, I hire Monkey for $50 to organize my apartment.

Oh, and my porn collection is all digital.
