Ideas. I have so many they won't leave me alone.  Except for when I don't.  Once I had writer's block for FIVE YEARS.

I know this is old, but I saw the "speeeeed" tag and looked, so that's how I got here.

It's really odd you should mention that about slash. To also be completely immodest, I am fucking AWESOME at writing het. And I don't hate slash, in fact I read it from time to time and usually like it, I just can't ever seem to get it right when I try. I've written one slash story just because I could and it's "meh". Not something I'll undertake again unless it's very special circumstances. Maybe because I'm neither male or gay/bi? Although I know plenty of straight women who write fantastic slash.

By far most slash writers are women. Go figure. I'll have to go check out your fic. You should check the parts of my long-ass fic that are rated NC-17. Doesn't matter if you know the story or not, just that House is trapped in an 18th century kingdom with a princess who bears a remarkable resemblance to Wilson. Emotional chaos ensues.
