Supernatural Season 11 Promo...Well, That Happened.

As some of you might know I thought the ending of Season 10 was a real crapfest.

So. I've seen the trailer and the photos of the new female cast member.  Color me deeply unimpressed, even angry.  And hurt in a strange way.  Seriously, guys, are you even trying?

I'm not too bothered by the Darkness in general. There's a lot of flexibility in the way it could affect things after its initial manifestation.

However, I am DEEPLY unimpressed with and dismayed by the choice to put it in the form of another pretty young girl. At the end of last season, that was literally the one single thing I hoped they would avoid, after Eve was such an unimpressive flop in a terrible and generic "teen drama" type actress.
At the very least, make her someone interesting and awesome like the maid Ruby possessed for a "hot minute" back in season 4.

Honestly, I would have preferred we don't see the Darkness at all except through its effects.
