Duck Dynasty: Review, Supernatural Season 10, Episode 21, "Dark Dynasty"

May 07, 2015 12:30

Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner continue their soul-destroying run of terribly written episodes with "Dark Dynasty," sloppily directed by Bob Singer.
If it looks like a duck, it's this episode )

castiel, review, crowley, creative bankruptcy, oh dean, sam, supernatural, season 10

I loved the Ep!!
Thought Dean was frightening and I believe that Charlie's death will make Dean give into the Mark and go beserk..finally. When he circled Sam, eeeek! Sam's gag at the end.

I actually liked Rowena! Crowley was more interesting than he has been lately.

So yeah, I will call it a win.

You're always welcome here, sweetie! Different opinions are what make the world go round.

What worries me about this whole "Stynes" family saga is that it's taken directly from the mythos created by the Aryan Brotherhood - Evil syndicate with Jewish names practice black magic against the "good" "white race". Wow, writers are you really scraping the bottom of THAT ugly barrel?

Oh, yeah, it was long though it Europe that Jews caused the Black Plague, Famine, venereal disease . . . perfect reason to get a band of "good" folks together and burn them out.

My bet are on those bones being black cat bones (poor kitty) - in addition to crossroad summoning, there's supposed to be one that causes invisibility and the ability to slip out of confinement like a cat. Maybe Rowena will even turn into a black cat - supposedly a Scottish witch could turn into a cat nine times to regenerate herself like the Doctor.

Very angry about Charlie. She was even made a lesbian so the slash writers wouldn't be shrieking that she was 'contaminating" the boys with heterosexuality.

I'm horrified by it myself.

Ah, your snark eases my pain a bit, and I'm glad BL and I are not the only ones who are horrified by nepotism allowing a writer as egregiously, horrifically terrible as Ross-Lemming to write for the show. In fact, fucking get rid of BOTH of them and solve the nepotism that way; this ep proved Bob Singer can't fucking direct anymore, either.

Anyway. I agree with everything here, thanks for the great terrible review. <3

We had a run of good eps, but then we get this mess..... *sigh*

His lies are so bad they have flattened his hair

Even Sam's hair is suffering from the bad writing.
