Gosh, that was entertaining! I laughed my head off (I won't miss it)
Good idea with the drinking game.(hic)
The whole fetch scene is one of my fave funny scenes ever.

I thought maybe the fact that Dean left the Colonel with the vegans in the end maybe meant that Dean changed his opinion on those poor vegans (who thought people wearing sunglasses inside were douchebags just like he did) in the end. Wait... we could even go as far as to say that the theme of this episode is Dean being cured of a couple of former prejudices (pets - especially dogs - and vegans)?

huh...

Aw, blood spatter, how I've missed thee.

OMG! I totally know what you mean. Not that I like gross all that much but come on! We are dealing with Monsters here! What happened to the "horror" part of the show?!
(or... were you just being sarcastic...?)

Thank you! :) It occured to me on the first viewing, and even more so when I watched it again.

I will say that if Sam had never had mental problems, then I might consider him stupid. But he spent six months unable to remember the year and a half he spent soulless. When he did remember he was hallucinating and unable to tell what was real and what wasn't. During that time Dean was what he counted on to help him know what was real, not his own experiences and mind. The only way he healed was when Cas the angel took his insanity away. Now Cas is no longer an angel, Sam could be wondering if Cas not being an angel could be bringing the insanity back. Plus Dean straight out stated in Citizen Fang that since Martin had a breakdown he would forever be Crazy Martin whose mind can't be trusted. So since Sam had a breakdown, Sam could believe that he will forever be Crazy Sam who mind can't be trusted ( ... )

Your points are well taken. However:

At the end, for the umpteenth time, Sam, who is under a stupidity spell, questions Dean about what happened.

This is a joke.

Gratuitous angel nudity!

Ahhh ... that was the best part of 9.05--I totally forgot they managed to work in another Cas-laundry scene! But I guess they had to, since it's so important to the ongoing arc ...

Supernatural can mix gross and funny like no other show.

Why do I love thee, SPN? Let's start here.

With obligatory purposeless room divider, no less

Those bug me EVERY TIME I SEE THEM, alas.

The Yorkie was queer-shaming!
The bestiality was disgusting and an insult to animal lovers everywhere!
Dean is bi! How can he get together with a poodle? The writers are destroying my OTP! Besides, the presentation of the poodle was sexist!
Show doesn't care about us! We're only ratings cattle!
Show hates vegans!

Fortunately, I seldom see this kind of grousing. If I did, I would be most annoyed. SPN has never been your go-to for p.c.ness. NEVER.

Seriously, the gratuitous angel nudity made my day. :-)

I'm hoping there will lots more on the show, or I will run out of pictures!

ETA: That complaint about being ratings cattle was actually on Twitter. I refrained from replying, "Yes, that's called BEING A VIEWER."
