Yeah, totally agreed with Dean. I mean, on the one hand it's an impossible choice (and anyone who's been watching the show longer than two seconds knows the only answer), but I just can't see him saying "That's it, gotta go, right now."

Asking Cas to go into hiding since the bad guys will be counting on him being near the Winchesters, making damn sure he goes with clothes and food and a phone and credit cards and whatever else? Believable.

Kicking Cas out with no explanation, betraying someone who's already hurt and lost and badly in need of help? I wouldn't even buy Torturer!Dean being that cold.

Considering the writers, I'm not surprised. I'm really starting to wish that they'd either find another gig or get fired, but their ratio of good to fail is getting ridiculous.

As long as Eugenie Ross-Leming is married to one of the producers, I don't see that happening.

Then some writing lessons, maybe. How Not To Mess Up A Basic Plot 101. Avoiding Fail 102.

Totally agree about Dean caving too fast. And why did Zeke send the boys out to find Cas at the start of the episode, resurrect him, and then kick him out to the curb??? What is Zeke's game???

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that as a through-line. It's even stranger when you put it together like that!

I didn't like the ending either. Castiels puppy eyed face got to me. Made me upset. I'm like seriously Dean your kicking your best friend out of your home? COME ON!!! Well they dont call Dean a Jerk for nothing. lol.

I am really hoping that Castiel gets his grace back and kicks some angel ass. because right now he's vulnerable. with being human in all. i mean seriously, If April can kill him, whos to say some other angel wont?

I'm sure many will try to kill Castiel. I'm equally sure that Cas will not simply be kicked out of the bunker.

Cas burned Pamela's eyes out on accident. Naomi (or her henchmen) burned out that waitress' eyes on purpose. Not sure how it works though, or why, but it's not new.

There's a long history of angels burning people's eyes out. Pamela could not gaze upon Castiel's true form. When Anna got her grace back, she screamed, "Close your eyes!" When Zacharia got the go-ahead to use Adam, everyone else in the bar's eyes were burned out. During season 4 and 5, angel can mean eyes burned out.

Now it's happening inconsistently, but that's been true for a long time.

Yeah, it used to be only an angel in its true form; now it's inconsistent, all right. And what's with reapers glowing/dying exactly like angels now??
