My dad grew up on a chicken farm. He would never eat chicken when I was a kid. He finally started eating it, occasionally, when he was about 60. According to him, it took that long to recover.

So I'm guessing you have a very accurate picture of chicken farming here. And I love that you plunked Sam and Dean right smack in the middle of it. :)
