Yeah, I didn't really care for this one at all. The bestiality aspect of it in particular had me retching, too.
Even Sam's hair couldn't save this episode for me. Hopefully it will save the next one for me. (lol.. I had to inject some humor into this... even if it didn't quite work *g*)
I believe you know my take on this ep. Didn't like it very much at all.
I disagree about the whole slave/master assumption. For one, Portia told Dean that Familiars do the choosing, so she chose James. Second, she seemed to be able to go and do pretty much whatever she wanted. She sent the message to the boys and went and met with them first, all without James even knowing about it.
