Spot on, as usual. This episode made me want to dig the memory of it out of my brain with a butter knife. Hmmm, maybe they'll try that on the PoTW on the next episode. You know he/she won't have lupus or sarcoidosis or MS.

Hugh Laurie continues to look weird. Are they foreshadowing cancer, or does he just look weird? He looks good, but I always think he looks good so I may be biased.

Odette Annabelle is definitely being sidelined. Now that they’ve got adorable Dominika, the man fantasy girl-with-boobs quota has been filled. I think OA is seen less because she is on another FOX show (Breaking In) and there's a chance this other show will be on next season and House won't.

First things first: No choice words for the product placement in the show? Don't you want to boost Ford's sales?

Is the show itself some sort of sick House-ian screwing with the audience, putting us through the wringer for their own amusement?This. I've been asking myself this very question since "Perils of Paranoia." It's as if DS is pissing MelGibson all over his show. I don't get it

I'm sorry I forgot the product placement. There was so much else mangling my brain that it got lost.

If it weren't for reviewing, I would be grabbing strangers on the street by the lapels and screaming, "YOU DON'T KNOW! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW AWFUL THIS IS!" Seriously, my reviews are keeping me out of jail.

I think you just about nailed it. RSL to me looked like he had no idea how to play this brain addled, naive, trusting, Wilson who has apparently never met an eleven year old kid before. And either Biff was in the hospital for a LONG time or House has a hotline to kid actors whose parents will be okay with them playing this sort of 'private role' with apparently no supervision.

As for Biff I wish he'd told Taub to mind his own damned business - what is it with all these doctors being judgemental of the patients lives? It's not like any of the PPTH staff are exactly setting a high moral standard here.

I must admit I quite liked the end of the Chase subplot (although baffling - popo has moved in with Chase?) - it was a nice antidote to the Families Suck message of the rest of the show.I'm making a call that Chase is coming back to Australia at the end of the show, to reconnect with his family.

Meanwhile, House is interviewing for a new favorite hooker, since his current favorite, Emily, has

But does Chase have any family left? Both his parents are dead, I forgot what happened with Insta-sister...maybe they'll create some grandparents he can bond with.

Yes, I was thinking of suprise!sister mostly, he made a phone call to her after his miraculous recovery.

Did you notice that Biff has no family or friends to visit during his extended stay at PPTH? Alas, poor Biff...

The other thing that annoyed me was the lighting. Why can't we ever get some decent lighting on this show? Is there some kind of union grievance going on at Fox that no one can change a light bulb?

As much as I love this show, the writing is pure crap and I can only imagine how badly they're going to mangle the series finale.

I'll still watch it though :-)

Oh, I think both HL and RSL could read a dictionary and make it sad, or funny, or sexy. They're fantastic actors. Although if I really could replace the script of the show with something equally silly I'd go for naked mud wrestling, because I'm shallow like that ;).
