I watched the clips on the news of how despite the reduced number of people, and even though hallmarks of the devastation are still plainly visible, Mardi Gras goes on in New Orleans. Seeing the floats and people on Bourbon Street made me pretty wistful and sad. Its such a cool town; and I know its not the same place I visited a year ago ( Read more... )
