Financially it's been a sucky week for me, but I prefer not to write about such things generally. It seems like I've been in a permanent state of job-hunting since I moved up here. Meanwhile Erin is QUITE happy w/ her job and just got ANOTHER raise. I need ANOTEHR PT job. I'm hoping to find something in some small shop somewhere that I can work

Don't fret over peoples' birthdays and such.
Sometimes the best thing you can give a person is genuine good will, and not rediculous things that often wind up gathering dust on shelves.

Of course, if one is dealing with mad, overly- materialistic people, that might be a lost cause... :o
