Movies and Books 2009 (so far): A List

Following solonia's lead, I'm going to keep track of the new movies seen (including made for tv) and books read by me. New to me, that is. What I list won't necessarily be new releases, but if I hadn't seen it or read it before and see/read in 2009, then it's new to me. :)
I have no idea how many new books or movies I read/saw last year. So now I can keep track.

Right now, the list is sadly small. As in .. only one movie is listed. It will grow. *edited to add that the list, as you can see, is slowly growing

Movies

January

1. Sleepless in Seattle. That's right, I've never seen it. Not the whole thing from beginning to end. And now I have.

2. Kung Fu Panda. Clever, cute and funny. I loved Po's Kung Fu dream in the opening segment. 01/24

February

3. The X-Files: I Want to Believe. Most excellent. Didn't disappoint. :) 02/01

4. Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control. My dad figured I'd enjoy this because Masi Oka (Hiro from Heroes) is in it.

5. Billy Madison. My dad has an Adam Sandler theme going on right now so he keeps sending Adam Sandler movies.

6. How Green Was My Valley (1941). Really good movie. We happened upon this, happily at the beginning, as we flipped through the channels over the weekend.

March

7. Around the World in 80 Days (Jackie Chan version). Fun and funny! Great to watch. 03/14

8. Paycheck. Interesting. My mom was bored, but I wanted to know what would happen next. 03/14

9. John Tucker Must Die. This was surprisingly funny. Predictable but funny.

10. Timeline. Surprisingly fun. Well, depends on how you define fun but good still the same.

16. Take the Lead. Pretty good.

17. Australia. All kinds of awesome. What a great movie! It was better than I had expected, and I loved the use of "The Wizard Of Oz" as a theme throughout the movie. This will be a multiple viewing movie.

18. The Tuxedo. Jackie Chan, Jennifer Love-Hewitt .. and Daniel Craig. Comedy and martial arts. 05/24

19. The Medallion. More Jackie Chan. More action. Less comedy. 05/24

21. Domenick & Eugene.

22. Walk the Line.

23. Quantum of Solace. Daniel Craig is still a fantastic Bond. 05/30
