Pain in my Side

 I have been sick on and off with my irritable bowel for three weeks now.  It's very annoying and wears me down.  However, this morning I woke up at 5am with a terrible pain in my back and front (left side )--not appendix side.  I am dying though.  Luckily I could get a doctor's appointment at 10am today.  I hope it's not a kidney infection---that
