i just want to say how impressed of just.. how.. smooth windows 2000 runs, on a 500mhz celeron with 96mb of ram! i would definitely recommend win2k (professional) to someone like me who has come across or have computers that arent powerful enough to run windows xp smoothly but absolutely dispise windows 98 ( Read more... )

yeah, that does help but i think windows 2000 runs faster on the computer that i just installed it on. it only had 96mb of ram so i'm sure it used a pretty large page file, which slowed things down a lot because the disk activity was so overwhelming.

btw, this is completely off-subject, but what are your thoughts on the PAX network folding and gannett pulling out of WVPX? what do you think will happen to channel 23?
