cat seems like he'd be one of those annoying monsters who hits for like 1HP a strike, but stuns you so you can do nothing but watch your HP get widdled down like a bitch.

Rhea, Myra and Jan were pretty much designed for a fantasy game so they'll be easy for me-

Rhea - HUNTER/ARCHER, high hp and agility. Probably the closest to a tank an archer can get. SHE WILL DODGE YOUR ATTACKS but can only fight long-distance, so can't do anything if you get too close. :( She might take a couple of levels in unarmed combat to punch you in the FACE if you get too close wow in my head this rpg is now a mix of fire emblem and classic final fantasy.
MYRA - Mage fuck yeah. Her physical abilities suck, but she can bust out this amazing cut-scene only spell which will wipe out everything on-screen including comrades if you fill her annoyed gauge.
Jan - Squire. High learning curve and inability to learn any "one hit one kill" moves.

Nathan would be a monster. Thor would...be a high-level NPC/mod character. IDK ABOUT THE REST.

Aubrey would be a spoony bard and recite poetry and hide under tables during a fight.

Ren would probably be a thief. I'd say rogue, but she feels like a starter class.

Petra WOULD BE A FUCKING TANK PALADIN who can somehow equip a whip.

Umeka hmm I will say a shaman. That way she can still buff and heal to protect her party, but can also inflict blunt force trauma. :D

Dalila hmmm! Probably a summoner. She's not good-natured enough to be a priest.

Junbao would be a badass brass-knuckle wearing monk fuck yeah. (back when I played RO, combo monk was the only class I was any good at. Which apparently is really odd, because everyone who knew what they were doing with other classes said it was goddamn hard.)

Theo can be a beast master! His pets can destroy his enemies. He'll just need a better pet than algae.
