Who: Flack & Danny
What: Basketball game
When: An UNUSUALLY warm February Saturday morning.
Where: One of the many BB courts at the YMCA... this one happens to not have many any people around

Danny was late. He hadn't meant to be late but it was beginning to seem like he was late for everything these days. The world he figured had turned the clocks ahead fifteen minutes and forgot to inform him. He showed up on the court with his bag over one arm and looking much less awake than Flack.

Already warmed up, Flack dribbled over to Danny. "Hey, Messer! Glad ya finally made it." Grinning widely, Flack passed the ball to the CSI, anxious for a workout.

[danny]

Danny caught the ball and dropped his bag by the fence. "You look like you been up since the crack uh dawn." He pointed out and couldn't help smiling a little at Don's enthusiasm.

"Gimmie a minute, I'm still waking up." He said while stretching. Danny wasn't much of a morning person, but he tried to make sure he was up everyday at a reasonable hour.

Flack felt giddy, and couldn't help the urge to poke a bit of fun at Danny. "So... yer gonna REALLY play this time, right? not just let me win?" Flack asked Danny. "Cause it'd be pretty embarassing for you if I were to win after that whole speach the other night..."

[danny]

"Yah, well.." He cleared his throat, "I got somethings to do later." he said, "but I got most of the day to myself." He was thankful for the return of their server so he could switch subjects again after he ordered.

"Oh yea?" Flack smirked again as he let himself sink into the pleathery seat. "So I'll get to kick yer ass in a game of handball today as well?" Flack smiled up to the waitress and ordered a nice big breakfast. He was starving.

[danny]

Danny scoffed at the thought. "Are you kidding, I feel like I'll be lucky to make the walk home today let alone take up another game." He admitted. "I guess I been off my regular schedule longer than I thought....but you're not gettin' outta handball. We're definitely doin' that another day."

Flack rolled his eyes and shrugged, then looked back, genuinely caring. "Geez, Messer... sorry if I hurt you or anythin."

[danny]

"yah, yah, yah.." He muttered clearly trying to live down that mssive blow to his ego. "Not my finest hour." He took another minute just enjoying seeing Flack in all his anticipation before finally confessing. "It was Aid' alright... and that really stays between us, got it?"

Flack smiled knowingly. He had always been impressed by Danny's ability to seduce women... and men. Not that he'd ever really expected Danny to sleep with a guy. He just knew it was a potential possibility. "Yer one-of-a-kind, Messer. When did this happen?" Flack couldn't help feeling like he was in an interrogation room again, trying to pull all the information out of Danny. It was usually something Flack was very good at. Though it was also something Danny was very good at resisting.

Danny kept his eyes on his companion gauging his reaction to that confession. He'd shared plenty of stories of sexual conquest with Don, but he'd always negelected to mention the occassional men who'd come and gone from his life, as fast if not faster than most of the women.

"Like I said," Danny continued, "long time ago. Happened, kinda by accident. For both of us."

Flack was still surprised. Without a doubt, both of them were incredibly gorgeous people, and as much as he had a distaste for it, he could definately see them as a couple... In fact, he'd often wondered why they hadn't been a couple. "But... WOW. So how'd it happen? I mean, it's not like you go, 'oops! I slipped well, how silly. Look where I landed!'"

"We were just..." Danny shrugged looking for the words. "just talkin' and drinking and.. and we woke up together. We both knew better and we put it behind us." He said, "don'r you tell her i told you, thought, she'd kill me."

Flack grinned deeply at the image of Aiden's face if he told her he knew... and the image of her later as she glared before ripping Danny's intestines out. Though it did give Flack a very interesting idea. "Wow, Danny... That's some pretty serious stuff. I dunno if I'll be able to keep it on the downlow..." Flack faked a verious serious look, though a devious smile was beginning to peek through.

[danny]

"Yah well you better." He said. "Cause she'd just as soon kill you for knowin' as she'd kill me for tellin'." He pointed out. "and it's not serious it just happened, we're past that."

Flack rolled his eyes. "Yeah, sure." Danny's secret love affair with their good friend came as a striking surprise to Don, and made him begin to wonder. "So, 'ya had any more exciting stories lately you've conveniently forgotten to tell me about? Any more secret escapades?"
