Saturday began with a 9 a.m. trip to mikigarrison's house. We had lunch at Red Robin, and were seated outside--which I hypothesized was because they knew they were going to end up kicking us out anyway, so they might as well serve out there to begin with. And Miki saved ( Read more... )

I thought its butt was a bunny head. Eventually, criada figured out that there was a ball tucked between its butt and its ankles. Its knees are just bent so its legs come back up.

OR IT HAS A RABBIT-ASSED SLED BODY. It's not like we can prove it either way.

I had to look up the anthology, since I'm not up on my horror lit new or old, and it's GRANTS PASS. Grants Pass, the town who's motto (or excuse) is "It's the climate!"* and the climate is six months of fog. The town my rogue-valley based family call Grants Pants, or occasionally Grants Ass. I never knew anyone did anything in Grants Pass but stop for gasoline, coffee, and getting rid of used coffee.

*I live in Olympia (It's the water!) so I totally know about this technique.
