Wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying this story. It is so different than everything else and I haven't a clue where you're going with it. I hope you will be able to continue updating.

Definitely will continue updating. Surprisingly enough, while I have a general idea of the end goal, as well as some of the major events, I haven't got a clue where this story is going, either.

I loved the way you handled the meeting between Ash and Chris!

Poor Jason, I trust that he will be okay.

You have done a great job weaving in all of the different characters in this story.

I'm looking forward to what comes next!

I have to say, I've enjoyed getting to know the original characters in this, and seeing how they act around the established characters.

Okay, I'm genuinely scared for Jason. Please let him be okay. I don't know if I'd be able to take it if Lanie and Ash lost him. Or Ethan's guilt, cause you know he'd feel it even if he didn't do anything wrong.

I can't even concentrate on the Ash/Chris interaction (which I thought was brilliant, btw). That's how much my focus is on Jason. One of the many reasons I love this story is because I feel just as much invested in the OC as I am in Ash.

Thank you. I'm glad Jason's drawn you in. I actually enjoy him. In some ways, I think he's a happier version of all the people Luke's loved. The boy's got a little of Reid's smart mouth, Holden's heart, and Lucinda's bravery in him. So in the end, he comes out a spitfire. :)

Great chapter, Ash's walls are slowly coming down, he's letting
family and old friends back into his life and allowing them to take care of Jason. This is a good thing!

Yeah, it is. In the end, Luke coming to some sort of resolution in his life is where this story is headed. There are just going to be plenty of bumps and bruises along the way.

Oh, please let Jason be okay. I can't imagine what it would do to Ash and Lanie if they lost him.

Thank you so much! Not to worry too much. I'm not keen on the idea of anything too bad happening to Jason.
