Grissom glanced up and replied: "Everything all right?" He was already standing and moving toward the door, regardless.

[good_ship_moya]

I ... would discuss it when you arrive in my den.

[trusts_evidence]

Grissom didn't like the sound of that, and sped up slightly. "I'm on my way."

Within two minutes, he was at the entrance to Pilot's den. "Pilot?" he called out, stopping just inside the doorway.

[good_ship_moya]

[looks up] Gilbert. Moya has noticed that about four arns ago, we were apparently boarded. Yet there was no ship in our vicinity. She only noticed because one of the DRDs reported seeing someone who did not belong. As you solve mysteries, we would like your help in solving this one.

[trusts_evidence]

[moves to the table again, staring at the mess and hoping for any clue; the silence is deafening when you know what you're not hearing]

[mutters] Damnit, Cath.. where are you?

[good_ship_moya]

[lays a hand on Grissom's shoulder] We'll find her, Gris.

[looks up] Pilot? Just have her look for anything that seems different.

[looks back down at everyone] Who knows how long they've been following us.

[trusts_evidence]

[looks at John] This isn't like losing anyone in Vegas. They usually turn up. [fights the urge to add how they're usually found] Four hour head start, in any direction?

[gives him a 'be serious' look]

[radiant_aeryn]

I can take a shuttle pod out. Maybe see if I can get better readings in a smaller vessel.

[trusts_evidence]

[from under the console] Is that any clearer? [bumps his head] Ow. [comes out from under the console, rubbing his head, and looking up at the image]

[good_ship_moya]

[looks at it] What are we looking for?

[trusts_evidence]

[hauls himself up] Any sign of whoever snuck in and kidnapped Catherine and Jool.

[good_ship_moya]

Oh. Can I help?

[good_ship_moya]

Just remember Han shot first.

[turns upward] Pilot, can you analyze this white flash in the video?

[pilot's voice] I will try, Commander.

[trusts_evidence]

[smirks; he really does like this guy]

[good_ship_moya]

Commander, if you will notice, when the light flashes, someone vanishes. It is as if they make themselves disappear.

[trusts_evidence]

[dead-panned] Well, that's not fair. [glances around] Is this a race you've heard of? Myths and legend? [looks back at John] Universal Enquirer?

[trusts_evidence]

[brow furrows] If we don't know who these... people.. are [shakes his head] how can we be prepared? [glances at John, realizing he knows more Star Trek references than he ever realized] What if their knee is not their knee?

[okay, that one, he knows because of Catherine]

[good_ship_moya]

You guess. [smiles] Aim for the chest. Their heart is almost always in their chest. Some advice [smiles] Just aim and shoot like you normally would. And don't over think it.

[trusts_evidence]

Cath doesn't bother with the heart. [dryly] She aims between the eyes.

[good_ship_moya]

[nods] That works too.
