Nice. I like the structure, I like the characterisation, I like the details of Greg's childhood and family, and there were a few lines I especially liked. The one about being booked on his mother's guilt trip, for instance? Brilliant.

Why thank you kindly, I'm happy you liked it. Especially comforting that you found the characterization okay, because this was my first foray into CSI, and that's always the largest initial worry.

Cool. I'm something of a backstory whore, and if canon won't give it to me, well, I'll get it in somehow.
