And then I have to finish writing "The Witch in the Almond Tree" because now it's on a deadline, because...

Yes. Yes, you do.

And I never did get to see your query letter! Send it to me?

"The Witch in the Almond Tree" is such a gorgeous title--I like it already!

And when you talked about the mayonnaise needing to be refreshed, I was thinking, yes, she will have to hit "reload," only the reload will be with: ketchup!

I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT.

Although "The Witch's Garden" series is VERY NAUGHTY!

Love,

Ooh, it's part of a group of stories, is it? What else grows in the witch's garden?

Erm. Well. Hee hee...

Okay. SO.

Um.

"Witch, Beast, Saint" is coming out (an apt phrase in this case) with Strange Horizons July 22nd. I want this novella "Witch in the Almond Tree" up on Amazon before that. So that there will be LINKS, you see.

Francesca.

I have never...
EVER...
Published...
anythinglikethesebefore.

But I am so tired of being broke. And whatever. I never thought to submit the first to SH in the first place. Or under my own name. But a series of FLUKES made the publication possible. So I thought I'd CAPITALIZE. More or less. Probably less. :)

Also, you are SO GETTING AN AGENT! It is brilliant. It is bold. It is FUNNY!
