The other day, Sita and my buddy Erica M and I went to the DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATRE at Misquamicut Beach. We went to watch 16 Candles.

It was hilarious, the whole episode.

The movie was appalling and enjoyable, and it made me want to watch The Dead Zone again just to revel in Anthony Michael Hall, and every time the screen went black (it happened ( Read more... )

I have just been given a bicycle by a friend departing the city! The bicycle's name, I am told, is Esther-sometimes-Hester. I've not yet, ah -- ridden her. I am uncertain of her love, and also road regulations.

But here she is, allowing me an extended understanding of the city, perhaps, a double-share of freedom from bus and subway! I don't know. Perhaps I shall take it.

I love to learn of your inner landscape, my beauty, and your relaxing into the home of your self.

Isn't that the name we gave to John o' the Air's DARK MISTRESS???

She LOVES you. She must. But she will be capricious and fickle until the day you confess your love for her beneath a lightning-struck ELM!

In my humble opinion.

I LOVE A GIRL ON A BICYCLE, AMAL! Go forth! And tell me ALL!

I LOVE tea-tree oil! Do you have a good recipe for deodorant?

The recipe I tried was coconut oil, baking soda, maybe something else? and tea tree oil. Not sure if I still have it anywhere but I can look when I get back later. Honestly sometimes I just use straight tea tree oil. It works remarkably well and is zero effort for super cheap.

*nods* Worse comes to worse, mix in a good strong dash of tea tree oil to a gollup of coconut oil. TT is anti-EVERYTHING, but if your skin is sensitive the coconut oil will protect you -- also, it will spread nicely, and you don't need to use as much TT as you'd end up, just for coverage.

Yeah, not all surrenders are even defeats--some are just a relaxing of clenched muscles. "I don't have to . . . I'm free not to."

Did you have a good date with your trusty two-wheeled friend?
