Hey, that's my Angus line you quote up there...I'll forever be thinking of you now when I deliver it. You know, in my super deep chest voice, while I'm chilling against the wall all fierce & taking up as much space as I can because that's what men do...
By the way, I can't help but laugh at how, while you're spinning poetry out of rehearsal remembrances, I'm over on my page nerding it up about buying affordable literary criticism. It makes me think of Ani diFranco when she sings "I know there is strength in the differences between us & I know there is comfort where we overlap."
Speaking of nerds, last night I dreamed I owned Faye's New England Gothic book. Well, not owned, but it was on my shelves, with a sticky note from some guy I'd borrowed it from, begging me not to forget to return it. I felt slightly guilty in the dream, because I'd... not returned it. And was not feeling INCLINED TO DO SO.
:::clutches her copy of NEGL to her chest::: does this mean I have to worry about you not returning mine when I lend it to you? For I shall hunt you down and, if all else fails, astral-project myself into your room & steal it back...
I like the idea of turning yourself into a hundred crows--going from being singular to multiple: fascinating. And this!
"And none serve with him but constrained things Whose hearts are absent too."
So cool. Yes, you do *very well* creating the backstory in there. I'm sure if MacBeth is having Murderer 3 check up on Murderers 1 and 2, he's given those others similar instructions. A web of mistrust. How awful and intriguing.
Exactamundo, Cucumberseed. And there's been a lot of ink spilled over the identity of the Third Murderer: CSE's speculation is as good or better than any. I remember reading an SF/F story about the Third Murderer, but can't remember anything more than that. Author? Title? Gone. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Well, it'd be a damned shame to be in rehearsals for something the WHOLE time you're here. But we'll see. I want to make sure I have quality time with YOU!

Ok I'm done rambling...for now...

What I must remember, on the stage, is intention, intention, intention. Where am I coming from? What do I want? Where am I going?
All the rest is commentary...
BUT IT'S SO FUN ANYWAY!
