Fan fiction archives and creative commons licenses
So, as I mentioned on Twitter, I have some thoughts on the Creative Commons licenses, and their application to/effects on fan fiction archiving.

How is it that it is dvd 3, season 3 of Babylon 5 that apparently fell off its little plastic holder during storage or shipping, resulting in the disk being scratched badly enough that the episodes are skipping and scenes not playing ( Read more... ) -
XF Fanfic: About the Book
Tonight, I was digging through a backup disk from my college computer. And I dared peek into the directory called "XF in Progress." Apparently some of the "in progress" junk simply never passed my editing process. And since I don't care much about editing ten-odd years later . . .

You'd think that working as an archivist, and the primary database admin for Gossamer, I would have come across all the various types of idiocy out there relating to X-Files fandom by this point. Well, this evening, I have discovered a new level of hilarious idiocy.
The use of Sculder to describe MSR or MSR shippers. SCULDER? SERIOUSLY? -
Again, with the C. Schicks . . .
I suspect that one of the C. Schicks got to the point of pestering Google's help about their "lost" account. I had to verify my alternate e-mail address again when logging in today.
