Even if I'm not that interested in Simon's legs myself, I approve of equal-opportunity fanservice. XD

And that story about the boy and his mother is adorable. I love Japanese TTGL fandom. And not only because the Simon/Nia fanart is beautiful.

If Lagann-Hen was to come out in theaters that would be just holy fucking balls BRB SPLURGING WHAT LITTLE MONEY I HAVE. Of course knowing the American film industry, we've got zero chance of that happening.
Unless fans would be crazy enough to convince them.

It's especially annoying when we're trying to have actual discussion about the new Gunmen and yet some people can't stop going "WHERE ARE THE YOKO NIPPLES" or starting stupid Yoko VS Nia fights It's like jeez, I thought this board was for MECHA. :|

Viz put the Naruto, Bleach, and Death Note movies in theaters...but I don't think Gurren Lagann is nearly as popular in the mainstream. :(

According to the sakuga thread, the first weekend box-office for Lagann-han was at least 50% bigger than the first weekend box-office for Gurren-hen. I wonder if the difference between both films will keep growing on future weeks since the word of mouth for Lagann-hen seems to be much better than it was for Gurren-hen...
