Can't you just label his email address as spam so it'll go straight to the junk bin?
My mom kept getting a bunch of anti-Obama emails from my great-aunt... it was kinda disturbing and I had to explain how I would never trust any "informative" email that uses tinyurl links for their sources. And now I'm getting emails from the Obama campaign cuz I gave my email address when I tried to find out if I could vote... *sigh* big mistake...
I've marked his emails as spam, but I'm not sure how to do that for his email address. Comcast's Message Center just did an upgrade or something and now it looks completely different, so that's adding to my technology difficulties.
tinuyurl itself is a valid site it just shortens really long web addresses. As a librarian I use it all the time when I sent long web addresses to patrons that can break in the E-mail. But that doesn't mean the sites themselves were valid.
That is strange but do you have a spam or junk mail filter. See if you can mark it as spam and then it should go into a junk mail section. I am not familiar with comcast E-mail but most services have this now.
