Hmm, this is going to take a while to get used to. Especially because I've probably seen this opening scene like a hundred times now. It's actually the background voices that bother me more than anything. And I'm sure Yuri Lowenthal will get better once he's more used to playing adult!Simon. How'd you hear it in english? Are eps available online?

The Daily Show comes on at the same time, which takes priority on the DVR, so instead Kyoko's doing ALL NIGHT NO SLEEP GURREN LAGANN PARTY!!! XD

Youtube vids don't show up on my DS at all... not even a box or anything. I should really use my PSP to go online so I don't look like a blind idiot.....

You know I don't like that dub scene at all but it is probably a combination of them not being quite used to the voices and me being so used to the Japanese ones.

And ooh I like the AMV so far a lot. But wait how did you rip your DVDs. You must teach me.

Yeah, it sounds weird to me because I have the Japanese version of that scene ingrained in my head.

Oh yes you did I remember now but I was lazy and never tried it. The paid version is sort of expensive though. I wonder how long the free trial lasts.

I'd love to hear them say "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM" together in English, Japanese and German. I don't even understand German, but I don't care. >_>

Also, it was weird to hear "Gurren Lagann" pronounced right in an english dub. XD;

I know, that caught me off guard too. o_o But it was awesome.
