Okay. Dude. That was AWESOME. There was a really great tension all through it, and like, just the idea of Marcus letting Esca mark him like that, wanting Esca to mark him like that, just... damn, that is so hot.

I've not seen the Eagle... but knew the history it's set in... this was hot and gorgeous and love the interactions (did I mention, that it was hot?)

Esca smiles at this, and it is the slow smile of the wolf who has his prey spread out before him, to be consumed at his own leisure.

I can see this in my head as clearly as if it were actually happening in front of me. (I should be so lucky).
