There will be a post up come Sunday detailing my OMG AMAZING TRIP TO ROME ASDFGHJKL but I just wanted to do a quick post to let everyone know that I got back home safe and sound around 2pm this afternoon and that I'm absolutely knackered but still finding the energy to squee excessively about how awesome my trip was whenever anyone asks ;D heh.

HOORAY!! That is a brilliant picture. I am seething with jealousy. (However, lightstarangel and I have ITALY plans in September. <-- Though that is as far as the plan goes we're planning on travelling and Pompeii is so happening. ;p

I have given up on sncross_bigbang, long story (which I shall vent in an LJ post rather than on your post of squee.)

omg I know right? I saw someone hugging the Colosseum and was all OMG WANT TO DO but managed to restrain myself and then the next day we were leaving and I was all WE HAVE TO GO BACK COZ I WANT TO HUG IT! XD ...so we did!

We, of course, did loads of other things too, but the Colosseum was my big thing if you know what I mean?

Heh, Pompeii is still on my to do list so will be very jealous of you if you do go! XD

Just lots of annoying little things at home, big annoying thing at work and it wasn't really fun to write anymore. I'll pick it up for the next round.

lmao well Sophie and Georgie were a bit like that too, but after seeing me grope it they were queing up to have their shot ;D ...let us all be thankful I refrained from planting a smacker to it, heh.

Seeing the Colosseum was one of the top things of my bucket list, I'm still so amazed that I've done it! And that I got to do it with some really good friends too :)

omg don't tempt me! I have VanCon (end of August) and then Roadhouse (beginning of Sept), I'm not even allowed to think about other holidays this year! though, you know, keep me posted? XD

heh, I didn't know how much I wanted to hug it until I saw someone else doing it too! ...and I very nearly didn't as well. I think I saw a girl do it on the Tuesday and was all "WANT" but I never and then we were leaving the Wednesday but I was all "COLOSSEUM NOW, WANT HUGS!!!" and the girls indulged my freak and let me hug it XD ...they thought I was crazy at the time, but after seeing me do it they decided they wanted hugs too! XD heh.

Thank you! It feels like a dream now that I'm back home, I'm still amazed it actually happened, but totally over the moon about the whole experience :)

D: I was exactly the same the first couple times I went away myself, always paranoid about everything, I still am really, I've just learnt to hide it better :) ::snugs you so tight:: I'm so happy you came with me, Soph, like seriously!

:) I'm feeling really positive about it which is great! I hope to get the rough draft done by tomorrow, submit and then forget about it for a few weeks whilst I focus on the next one :S haha.

Aw no, of course not!! I was just aware that I was being paranoid about everything and that it was probably annoying as fuck. But I'm really happy you came with me and took such good care of me and I had an awesome time! I especially loved our fangirly conversations :D
