Based on the trailer for the upcoming episode. I just wanted to get this wee snippet out before canon completely ruined it for me, either by not having a moment like this, or by doing it way better than I ever could ;D Enjoy!

Alas there was no moment like this in the actual episode (though, damn, it was so good I don't even mind!) but I'm so glad you thought this could have worked for it :)

although we didn't get a moment like this in the actual episode, I'm glad you could see it as a potential scene :) ...I have great faith that Arthur would have gone back for him!

That was great. I could really see this happening, especially after last week when Arthur warned Merlin about getting arrested.

thank you! I'm glad it worked for you (even if the episode itself totally passed up on having a scene like this!) it seems kind of fitting after all Arthur's warnings, doesn't it? heh.

Oh, I can see this happening. Based on Arthur's actions in giving Merlin a chance to escape in 2x06, I could see Arthur doing likewise when Merlin's magic is revealed.

Unfortunately, Merlin may not be ready yet to instill that much trust in Arthur - to willingly reveal his magic to him. :(

I enjoyed this. :)

It seems like everytime we get close to having Merlin revealed, we never get *the* big reveal. Woe!

I would like to think that when the time does come though, that Arthur (no matter how shocked or betrayed he feels) will still do everything in his power to protect Merlin like he always has :)

And who knows. Maybe one day Merlin will extend his trust to Arthur ahead of time?
