I doubt all this excitement is going to happen at the other concerts ("medley" moment aside?) although, bonus points if the man does actually manage to rip his pants at every gig he does... oops! did I say ( Read more... )

Glad you had an awesome time! Oh god the picture! ::falls over laughing:: See this is why I like meeting Teh Barrowmanz!! XD

Also yes to the scottish medley/musical theatre song. We got that, i think by the end of it I was picking my mother up off the floor. She'd laughed herself out of her seat! ;)

That's very true, it's a surprise each time ya meet him! Did ya buy anything from the theatre?

Yup she did, she told me it was the first time she'd been out to a concert as such in about 23/24 yrs! So it was long over due I think!!!

*will read this after tomorrow night*
Did read the last paragraph. Daniel Boys = epic awesomeness.
And yes he's going back to Avenue Q. If you decide to come down and see it I can easily be persuaded to join you ;-)

Unable to decide whether I'm more excited for tomorrow or next Saturday with you guys. *flails a bit*

DID YOU HAVE FUN!?

heh. He really was epic, omg his voice! He was pure pimping his cd to us XD but he really is an awesome singer.

I'd love to see Avenue Q! I know Shaz was planning to go for her bday but she's not said anything about dates and I think most of the weekends have now been booked off at my work for the summer so I dunno if I'll be able to see it :( ...do you know how long it's on for?

:D I cannot wait to see it with ya'll! It'll be like the topping to the already awesomeness of seeing everyone again!

OMG! Between you and my mother texting me non-stop yesterday about it I am UBER UBER jealous!!! JB singing the proclaimers!! Meh!! Although I'm in California so I suppose I can take the good with the bad!!

Mum never mentioned he ripped his pants though! I just got random texts of "Thank you SO much Keira." and "Do you think your Dad would mind if I brought John home with me?" and "I LOVE HIM!" I fear she may have reverted to a fangirl. Hehe.

Glad you had an awesome time hun - just wish I'd been there too!! *sighs*

::pets:: sorry you missed it! But it really was epic! Oh, and I didn't mean he was singing any Proclaimers songs, just that when he was singing the musical medley in his Scottish accent he was just as awesome as they are :D

lmao, how could she have omitted the RIPPED PANTS EPISODE!? it was like the highlight of the evening XD haha

::snugs:: me too, but next year we'll take you!

This was my first time seeing JB in concert, and boy will I be doing it again asap!

The showtunes-medley-in-a-ceilidh-style has to be a highlight of my *life*, never mind the concert. And getting ones parents to dance 'the slosh' on stage is the epitome of WIN imho.

Now, when's that DVD due out???

Good to hear :D

That was so epic omg! I couldn't stop bouncing in my seat for the medley, hehe. And omg the parents on stage was so cute! I love how he always includes his family in the Glasgow shows <33

No idea but it's already top of my "To Buy" list XD hehe
