Just back from seeing the latest Harry Potter movie and thought I'd share with ya'll my very brief (and spoiler-free) impression before I rush off to bed. They scared me because Harem was talking about how good they looked! O_O so I couldn't help but notice myself and promptly cringed at the realisation that I was checking out her legs. That outfit? FTW PETUNIA!?

I celebrated Friday the 13th by seeing it. I enjoyed it but shouldn't have seen it with the school holiday crowd.

Overall, I found myself feeling exactly the same as you.

I almost wish I'd seen it with the holiday croud, or even on opening night or something- maybe the hyped up atmosphere would have lifted my spirits a bit or something?

Alas. I mean it was alright for a movie, but... not what I wanted/expected at all.

If you were to ask my kid and his friends, it was "the best movie to date! (Even if Harry had to KISS A GIRL (yuck)!"

Me... I wasn't expecting too much, so I wasn't too disappointed. I just wonder how badly they're going to bungle Half Blood Prince, especially since in the movies Snape is seen as a pretty decent (good) guy.

I will be absolutely gutted if they ruin the next movie- I loved HBP because it was about Severus (I was one of the ones who just knew the Half Blood Prince had something to do with Severus! heh), and showed us how imaginative and wicked he can be, Harry's growing obsession with him also made me happy XD

As for the OotP movie, I'm still all a humming-and-haa-ing over it. My littlest sister wants me to take her, so I think a second viewing is inevitable. Maybe it'll improve with lowered expectations? :S

Mate, I did a impulse and went and saw it last night as well. And I'm going again today! I'm a HP Freak I tell ya.

The whole, of the ending, I was sat with my hands over my mouth and at one point I had stopped breathing, I kid you not!

Several things disappointed me, one thing made me squee, and two things made me cry. (I'll give you a link to my review when I come back tonight, so I'm not spoilering everyone here)

Here's hoping book 7 isn't rushed as the OoTP

If I'd liked the film, you can be assured I'd have been off to the pics tonight to watch it again, however...! My littlest sister wants to go see it tomorrow so I'll likely go again, fingers crossed it's better the second time round!

Zomg! I will die if book seven is anything but awesome. Srsly! It had better be bigger than book six was too ;)

Let me tell you, it is definitly better the second time around. I liked it a lot better the second time around. Although I'm still Seriously (oh come on you know I had to use the pun, let him RIP, bless his soul) annoyed that they changed The Prophecy!

And I heard that 7 is gonna be about the same length as 6!

(If you see it again, pay close attention to the photo of the Old Order that Sirius gives to Harry and check out Lupin's hair! heehee)
