Just back from seeing the latest Harry Potter movie and thought I'd share with ya'll my very brief (and spoiler-free) impression before I rush off to bed. Me... I wasn't expecting too much, so I wasn't too disappointed. I just wonder how badly they're going to bungle Half Blood Prince, especially since in the movies Snape is seen as a pretty decent (good) guy.

As for the OotP movie, I'm still all a humming-and-haa-ing over it. My littlest sister wants me to take her, so I think a second viewing is inevitable. Maybe it'll improve with lowered expectations? :S

The whole, of the ending, I was sat with my hands over my mouth and at one point I had stopped breathing, I kid you not!
Several things disappointed me, one thing made me squee, and two things made me cry. (I'll give you a link to my review when I come back tonight, so I'm not spoilering everyone here)
Here's hoping book 7 isn't rushed as the OoTP

And I heard that 7 is gonna be about the same length as 6!
(If you see it again, pay close attention to the photo of the Old Order that Sirius gives to Harry and check out Lupin's hair! heehee)
