Doctor Who squeeage

May 05, 2007 19:41

So, um... I'm trying desperately hard to contain my squee outside the cut, but who else caught the trailer for the next episode of Doctor Who?

Because... OHMIFUCKENHELL JACK IS BACK!!
The squee is clearly going to be too much for me.
And the next episode actually looks like it may be half decent, which'll be a nice change.
But, seriously people, JACK ( Read more... )

I just found out- that wonderful trailer we've been squeeing over? Isn't for the next episode like I thought, but for the rest of the series as a whole!

I'm really sorry to have to tell you this (and please don't shoot the messenger) but that trailer was for the rest of the season, not just next week. Jack is not back for another few weeks. Sorry :-(

Aww, come out from under there - spaces under rocks really aren't that comfortable! *Hands tissues and cookies*

It would have been far less painful for everyone involved if they had made it clear at the beginning of the trailer that it was for the rest of the season, instead of assuming everyone would know enough about future eps. to realise it was. Silly peeps.

:/ I suppose I should have assumed as much, especially considering we all knew Jack was only appearing at the end of the season... still, the way they jumped right in with the trailer after the episode, showing Jack back in Who-land, I really couldn't help but bounce around the room like a maniac and assume that all this fantastic stuff was going to happen in the next episode/s.

::sniffle:: Alas that I shall be made to wait!

...you weren't duped at all, were you? XD

"...you weren't duped at all, were you?"

Only very briefly. And then I remembered a promise from the BBC DW website News section:

"However... even though there's no episode on 12 May 2007, the Doctor Who team have been working away feverishly to prepare a special treat for you at the end of this week's episode, The Lazarus Experiment." - http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/05/03/43655.shtml

At which point I realised, and was far too caught up in the trailer to be disappointed. It's not so bad, you know - it's not that long 'til he's coming back. Really. *Is waiting as impatiently as everyone else*

In the meantime, I wish you sweet dreams :-)

I knew all this excitement couldn't last! And I suppose I can't really begrudge the Doctor Who team for the misunderstanding, the trailer really was quite awesome.

...however, I think the wait for the Jack episodes is going to be a little more unbearable now! hehe.

Nighty-nite, darling!
