This is heartbreaking. And I so wanted Ianto to wake in Jack's arms. Gorgeous.

:) Thank you! I'd have loved to have Ianto wake in Jack's arms, with Jack having been unable to leave him after all... alas that the angst!whore in me wouldn't allow that. Maybe next time, eh?

Peace,

I can understand that - I have lots of writers on my flist who are the same with angst :-) I'm a fluff bunny, so just ignore me :-)

Well someone needs to like the fluff, I suppose ;) Seriously though, I'm glad you liked my fic despite the angst and I promise the next one will have a bit more hope/romance to it! heh.

Ouch, that actually caused physical pain, I love it.
Sheer brilliance, every single line.
I'm sorry I can't be more constructive, but there's nothing I could think of improving.

Simultaneously tender and dark and sad. I liked it a lot.

Thank you. I think the little touches and hints at what could have been make the angst aspect of this piece so much more potent; I'm happy you liked! :)

Oh wow, beautifully done. Such pain, and almost wasted opportunities.

::smiles:: I'm glad you found this piece so! I have hope however that they will meet again and then there will be no more 'wasted opportunities'.

Thank you for reading!

Ha. And here I though I was being oh-so subtle! There may be a sequel, yes. I've already started jotting down a few points I'd like to have happen, so we'll just have to wait and see! :D
