so i don't own a snazzy old school kodak duraflex (yet) but what i did have was my ae-1 program and my 20d out this weekend. decided to play around with the TTV (through the viewfinder) concept.

You were absolutely successful with the 20D but there seems to be a technical issue: a disturbing little circle right in the middle of the frames. My 30D does not do this. maybe you wanna upgrade?
the circle is suppose to be there. i did a "through the viewfinder" technique using my 20d and my ae-1 together. i held the 20d behind the ae-1 and pointed the lens of my 20d directly at the viewfinder of the ae-1 to produce such images. so the circle is there because that is what an ae-1 looks like when looking through its viewfinder. doesn't that make sense? it's sort of hard to describe without my showing you in person. :)
