[Sokka is in the smithy, more the past few days than he has been lately, because now he has a big order to fill, putting his all important canoe project on fold. So he's back there making himself plenty busy working on... playground equipment. Which means he won't hear Winry's voice post and interrogate her over what exactly that means.]
