[It's dark, and Winry is disoriented. The Malnosso have dropped her off. The girl doesn't recognize the forest at night, and is a little terrified. She's been avoiding being out at night, and now she's smack dab in the middle of it.

She backs herself up against a tree. Feeling nauseous, she decides she'll try and get back to the house when it's safe

[so man people in the forest these days is irritating. But San knows this one. It's one of those 'helpful' sort. She'll approach as silently as any other hunting wolf might]

[Well she wasn't going anywhere before, either. But San will nod in a direction]

Thank you. [With a smile she'll start walking that way, but look over her shoulder after a few steps. It... was kind of scary at night, and she couldn't see where she was going. Though she won't ask for help. Instead she'll wordlessly continue.

And walk into a tree.]

[sigh. Humans.]

[Ow. :( ]

Can't find your way in the dark?

[it's obvious she knows the answer already, from that tone]

[Sounding a little embarrassed:] No.

Stop thinking like a human.

Why? Thinking like an animal won't heighten my senses.

[stare. Because humans don't think right.]

[Winry rubs her temples. She just wanted to get back and rest.]

I'm sorry to bother you, really. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, though. [She'll try going back again.]

[San will watch for a while. Winry's just as likely to end up lost]

[And she does. It seems she didn't go straight enough, and veered off too far to the left. Now she's still in the dark forest, and thinks she's alone.]

[and San will materialize again and just take Winry's wrist and start leading her out]

[The girl lets out a small yelp of surprise, but doesn't protest. Winry will obediently follow quietly as San pulls her along.]

[San will take her to the edge of the forest]
