[He dislikes the rain- his type of weather is nice and sunny, weather you can lose yourself in and simply have fun with. Not the kind that makes you all introspective... not to mention how moist is just no good for his skin. [In unison both Den and Winry turn to the man who spoke. The girl appears as if she had snapped out of deep-thought, while as the pooch looks simply curious.]

The dog, or the automail? [Because she knows people like Sokka and Katara probably haven't seen a plain dog before.]

[The man in question is... interesting. He's currently wearing a simple suit- black all over with nothing that stands out. Except for his appearance. Tall, almost seven feet and with a weird bob-cut and make-up covering his face... add his general mannerisms, and Winry may just be reminded of a MUCH slimmer and taller Garfiel.]

Ah, is automail what you call it? Well... I've seen a gun turn into a dog, but I can't say I've seen a dog turn into a machine.

[If that's the case, then perhaps this was fated! Winry laughs a little, but not at the guy with the make up. Maybe more of a giggle, even.]

No, no. He's not all machine. [The mechanic picks up Den's metal arm and waves it a little.] This is a prosthetic that was made for him. It's called Automail. A metal replacement limb, if you will.

[Here be a Vash walking by, having just come from the bakery, he stops and smiles when he spots you on the bench.] Oh! Hey there! Just the person I was looking for!

[Vash comes wandering over.] I never got the chance to properly thank you for fixing up my arm. Do you like brownies? [Vash hasn't met a girl yet who doesn't.]

You've got a creeper, up on one of the roofs, watching you and your dog. He'd say hi, but he's feeling a little fuzzy at the moment.]

[Go ahead and watch, man. She'll just be here trying to get a good look at Den's automail while still trying to hold her umbrella. Although it's a bit of a struggle, she seems to have it down for the moment. No telling when she might drop the thing though.]

[A dog with a mechanical leg? That's new. She actually seems to have some idea of what she's doing to it, too. He hops over to another roof for a better view.]

[A few moments more and Winry looses control of the umbrella. It falls rapidly from her grip, and hits the ground. From there the thing proceeds to roll away from Winry; leaving her unprotected from the rain. Den barks after it, and she gets up.]

[Despite her Superior's hatred for anything, well, wet, Riza had always enjoyed the seeming calm of rain. Which, in part, was why the woman had wandered outside but it was also for the simple fact that no matter what comforts she may prefer, Hayate's training was strict enough it would lead her to go outside. Even in the rain.

However, there was a stint in their progress when the pup stopped and yipped.]Black Hayate?

[ Pausing, Riza looked at where Black Hayate was suddenly padding. Which was to Winry and the dog she remembered seeing in Resembool. ]

[She returns Den's leg to him.] Yes, I think a rock may have gotten in one of the joints.

[She takes a moment to glance at the small pup.] The Sergeant found him a bit ago, I just happened to take him in.

Can you fix it right here, then? Or will he be able to walk until you can?

What's his name? [She holds out a hand for the dog to sniff.]

I can fix it here if it's not too far in. He can still walk, I'm just concerned he could be grinding and destroying gears with it in there.

[don't mind Yuzu gawking at the dog a little. She's seen a lot of weird things in this place but a cyborg dog is new.]

[The blond doesn't notice Yuzu (she's too busy fiddling around with the dog's leg), but Den does. He turns his head, and perks his ears. Is it someone friendly?]

[Winry picks up her head at the sound of a voice. Den though has already started wagging his tail and sniffing around Yuzu.]
